The Honorable Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the graduation ceremony for the 31st cohort of students from the Abu Dhabi International School (AIS). The event took place at the school’s campus in Mohammed bin Zayed City, with graduates, their parents, and members of the faculty and administration present.
During the ceremony, 159 students from various educational tracks were honored, with a special acknowledgment to 70 graduates who began their educational journey at the school from kindergarten. This emphasizes the school’s commitment to nurturing its students throughout their academic and personal growth.
In his speech at the occasion, Sheikh Nahyan said, “It brings me joy to celebrate with you today the graduation of 159 students in the 31st batch from the Abu Dhabi International School. These graduates carry the name of this prestigious institution, which prepares students for study, work, and life in this era, built on knowledge and underpinned by human wisdom, capabilities, and achievements.”
He further extended his congratulations to the graduates, appreciating their efforts and the notable achievements they have accomplished.
Sheikh Nahyan continued, “You, my dear graduates, have been fortunate to study in this wonderful country, which is dedicated to providing every avenue for success and progress to both its citizens and residents. You have had the opportunity to experience a rich educational environment characterized by diversity and plurality, in a school that values tolerance, coexistence, and dialogue, and takes pride in the principles of solidarity, loyalty, belonging, and collaboration. Throughout your time here, you have always been the focal point of every action and effort of the school, which is determined to equip you with a confident outlook towards the future.”
