Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi stated during the BRICS summit that the deteriorating international landscape has weakened the effectiveness of collaborative efforts and constrained the ability of nations and global institutions to address pressing challenges. He firmly expressed Egypt’s “categorical rejection” of any scenario aimed at displacing Palestinians from their homeland.
El-Sisi further noted that the global scene is engulfed in apparent double standards and blatant violations of international law without any accountability. He pointed out that the UN Security Council exemplifies the international community’s failure to tackle ongoing crises effectively.
