Strategic Collaboration for Delivery Service Models in Dubai’s Sandbox

The Regulatory and Licensing Sector of the Postal Regulation Committee has announced a strategic partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation to create a dynamic and secure testing environment for future delivery service models as part of the “Dubai Sandbox” initiative. This initiative aims to enhance the legislative and innovative ecosystem and implement the latest practices and technologies.

This collaboration is part of the joint efforts of both entities to boost the readiness of the postal and logistics systems for the digital economy of the future, fostering a regulatory environment that promotes innovation and enhances the reliability of the postal and express delivery sector. Additionally, the goal is to align innovation with compliance and facilitate the safe expansion of smart delivery solutions within the country.

Mohammed Khaled bin Suleiman, Executive Director of the Regulatory and Licensing Sector at the Postal Regulation Committee, stated, “Through our partnership with the Dubai Future Foundation within the framework of the Dubai Sandbox initiative, we aim to shift regulatory practices from a reactive to a proactive approach.”

Furthermore, Khalifa Al Qama, the Director of the Dubai Sandbox initiative overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation, emphasized that this collaboration will primarily focus on the enhancement of the innovative and legislative framework for delivery service sectors.
