Another significant project is the new Al-Sabah Hospital, which is currently being built in the same medical zone. Spanning 88,710 square meters, this facility aims to be a self-sufficient medical complex providing both general and specialized care.
The hospital will feature three main towers, a parking structure, and an engineering services building. Once completed, it is set to offer 512 inpatient beds, 105 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 72 outpatient clinics, and a helipad for emergency evacuations. All essential departments will be integrated within the building.
Hospital for Special Communicable Diseases
To enhance Kuwait’s capabilities in public health and infectious disease management, the Ministry is constructing a new Communicable Diseases Hospital. This facility will cover 74,000 square meters and will include a main hospital and a kitchen complex.

- A 34,417-square-meter surgical and central services building with 141 mobile beds on two levels.

- An administrative and parking facility for the health district, sprawled over 118,696 square meters and comprising eight stories.
