The Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain Performs Eid al-Adha Prayer at Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Mosque in Al-Ras Area

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, performed the Eid al-Adha prayers at Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque in the Al Ras area of Umm Al-Quwain.

Joining him for the prayers were His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al-Quwain, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain.

Also present were dignitaries such as His Excellency Sheikh Hamid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Mualla, President of the Emiri Diwan, Sheikh Saif bin Rashid Al Mualla, Director of the Department of Economic Development, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Financial Supervision Department, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, Sheikh Abdullah bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Finance Department, Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Municipality, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Smart Government Department, Sheikh Hamid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser bin Ahmed Al Mualla, Special Advisor to the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, along with many senior officials, citizens, tribal members, and representatives from the Arab and Muslim communities in the emirate.

The prayer was led by Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim Hamid, who, in his sermon, emphasized the importance of piety and steadfast obedience to God, as well as sincerity in worship. He wished the congregation a joyous Eid filled with blessings and gifts, praying for its return along with prosperity for the nation and continued happiness for the community. He expressed gratitude for God’s generous provisions and urged the attendees to worship Him sincerely.

In his address, the preacher stated that sincerity is the essence of worship and the foundation of values. It is the source of noble morals and an essential protector of rights and responsibilities. He highlighted that loyalty to one’s country is among the highest forms of sincerity. Those who truly love their homeland do not hesitate to serve it, uphold its reputation, abide by its laws, cherish its traditions, and take pride in its heritage while striving for its advancement and protecting its achievements.

He further noted that one of the most significant forms of loyalty is a person’s dedication to their family and community, depicting the image of a dutiful son to his parents, maintaining ties with relatives, and being generous and responsible towards his spouse and children.

The preacher prayed for God to protect the UAE from any harm, to keep His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, safe, along with his deputies and the other esteemed members of the Supreme Council of Rulers of the Emirates, wishing them success in serving their people and promoting the welfare of Islam and Muslims.

He also supplicated for the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his founding brothers, may their souls rest in peace, as well as for the nation’s martyrs.

After the prayers, His Highness the Ruler of Umm Al-Quwain, the Crown Prince, and the Deputy Ruler exchanged congratulations with the sheikhs and senior officials on this joyous occasion.
