The second session of the “Leaders Diploma” program showcased six innovative projects, three of which attained top positions by presenting practical and feasible solutions. These initiatives highlight the participants’ ability to implement creative ideas aimed at enhancing media performance and developing institutional work environments, which contribute to reinforcing the image of Dubai Media Corporation as a leading center for innovation and media excellence in the region.
These accomplishments also underscore the significant role of young national talents in steering media development and achieving the corporation’s strategic objectives, which focus on building a cadre of innovative media professionals capable of addressing future challenges and solidifying Dubai’s position as an advanced global media hub.
Hamid Abdulrazak Al-Mazmi, the External Transport Department Manager at Dubai Media Corporation, presented the project “Future Media Control Room,” developed in collaboration with his team of graduates from the second session of the Media Leaders program.
He emphasized the impact of the external broadcasting transport vehicle on enhancing media coverage. He noted that the COVID-19 pandemic acted as a catalyst for adopting innovative technologies for covering events across the nation, thanks to the capable young national workforce.
He added that the new plan aims to cover local and Gulf events and achieve returns up to 40% of production costs, stressing that the project reflects Dubai Media Corporation’s future direction towards developing a smart media infrastructure that supports real-time broadcasting and audience engagement.
Marwan Al-Hall announced a new digital initiative named “BAND Economic Platform,” characterizing it as a high-quality media product that embodies the “Voice of Dubai’s Economy.” It is designed to reach every smartphone, delivering the latest updates in the economic landscape, both locally and globally.
He clarified that the project targets all segments of society, from youth and university students to business people and investors, aiming to serve as a reliable reference that provides analyses, reports, and daily updates on economic activities within and outside the UAE.
He expressed the platform’s aspiration to become an economic reference for future generations through a comprehensive digital archive that offers accessible and trustworthy content while supporting sustainable development in the country.
Hassan Habib Al-Rustam, Director of Dubai Sports Channel, revealed a new innovative electronic application entitled “Advertising for Dubai Media,” aimed at connecting all audio and visual advertising vehicles under the corporation with private sector advertisers through an integrated digital system that simplifies planning, advertising, and promotion processes.
He explained that the application seeks to address the challenges faced by advertisers by providing a unified platform, allowing them to select appropriate ad types across various media platforms and facilitating easy and quick advertisement space purchases through four intelligent and innovative phases, mentioning that the second phase of the project will expand to include government departments and institutions.
