Four convoys loaded with diverse humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates have crossed into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing over the past week. This initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing efforts to assist and support the Palestinian people during these challenging times, under the humanitarian operation titled “Brave Knight 3.”
The convoys consist of 76 trucks carrying more than 1,419 tons of humanitarian supplies, which include food items, medical supplies, shelter materials, and water purification resources.
A team of UAE humanitarian aid workers stationed in Al-Arish is meticulously overseeing the loading of these supplies, monitoring their transport through the Rafah crossing, and ensuring that they reach the intended recipients in Gaza.
The team is committed to managing all operational details to guarantee the prompt and effective distribution of aid to the Palestinian people.
Since the beginning of the ceasefire, the UAE has significantly intensified its humanitarian relief efforts to support the Palestinian population facing dire conditions. This commitment is demonstrated by the entry of 325 trucks carrying 6,775 tons of UAE aid into Gaza since the border crossings were reopened, which has played a crucial role in alleviating the humanitarian crisis and meeting the essential needs of the most vulnerable groups.
The UAE reaffirms its steadfast dedication to supporting the Palestinian people and mitigating the impacts of the current situation, standing consistently alongside its brothers and sisters in Gaza.
