Trump States Canadian Costs for Missile Defense System
President Donald Trump announced that the proposed “Golden Dome” missile defense system would require an investment of $61 billion from Canada if the country wishes to participate.
Previously, Trump had indicated that Canada showed interest in joining this suggested missile defense initiative.
Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney mentioned that Canada is considering potential investments in the larger project, which has an estimated total cost of $175 billion.
