UAE University Hosts the 2025 Job Fair

The United Arab Emirates University is hosting the “Employment Exhibition 2025” over two days, from September 3 to 4, under the theme “Your Path to the Future.” The event aims to familiarize university students and graduates with the labor market’s requirements as well as available job and training opportunities. It will feature participation from various public and private sectors within the country and supports the nationalization efforts in alignment with the strategic plan of the university.

Dr. Suad Al-Marzouqi, the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs, highlighted that the exhibition serves as a platform for students and graduates to connect with employers. It aligns with the university’s vision of being a “University of the Future” through enhancing employment prospects for its graduates and contributing to community service.

She stated, “We take pride in our graduates, who have demonstrated their competence across various fields, thanks to accredited academic programs and extracurricular activities that equipped them to meet local and international job market demands.”

Meanwhile, Professor Al-Yazia Al-Dhaheri, Director of the Career Center and Alumni Affairs, explained that the exhibition provides an opportunity for direct interaction between graduates and participating organizations offering job opportunities and training programs. It also allows students to learn about the skills and fields in demand within the labor market, aiding new students in aligning their academic paths with market needs.

In addition to the exhibition, a series of “Career Readiness Week” events will be organized beforehand, including workshops on resume writing, job interviews, and skill development for the job market, along with counseling sessions and interactive activities with experts and mentors both from within and outside the university.

The exhibition will serve as a platform for job applications and training programs, providing direct communication with representatives from participating organizations, as well as informative sessions on future opportunities in fields such as graduate studies, continuing education programs, and specialized career initiatives.

It is noteworthy that the UAE University Employment Exhibition in 2023 was remarkably successful, attracting over 4,500 visitors, including students and graduates, with the involvement of 48 entities from diverse sectors and strategic partner sponsorships.
