The Ministry of Health in Uganda announced on Saturday the conclusion of the latest outbreak of the Ebola virus in the country. This follows three months after authorities confirmed cases of the highly contagious virus in the capital, Kampala.
The East African nation had declared the outbreak, which often results in fatal hemorrhaging, back in January after a nurse succumbed to the virus at a hospital in Kampala.
Ebola symptoms include fever, headache, and muscle aches. The virus spreads through contact with the bodily fluids and tissues of infected individuals.
