The Ukrainian Air Force announced on Tuesday that Russia carried out 22 air strikes on six locations overnight, with the southeastern region of Zaporizhzhia suffering particularly severe damage.
The Ukrainian National Police reported that initial assessments indicated the Russian military executed 10 attacks using multiple rocket launchers in Zaporizhzhia.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko stated that two individuals lost their lives, and 18 others were injured. The police had initially reported one fatality and 13 injuries, which included two children.
Military governor Ivan Fedirov noted that 10 residential buildings and 12 houses in the area were affected by the air strikes.
In the southern Mykolaiv region, a tractor driver was killed when a farm was hit, according to regional military governor Vitaliy Kim, who shared this news on Telegram late at night.
Following two drone attacks in northeastern Sumy, Governor Oleksiy Hryhorov reported partial power outages in the area.
According to civil defense authorities, fires broke out as a result of Russian attacks in Kyiv and Kharkiv regions.
The Ukrainian Air Force revealed that 113 drones were deployed by the Russian military overnight, with 89 of them successfully intercepted, in addition to the ongoing assault in Zaporizhzhia.
