Among those competing was Christopher Van Der Walt, a seasoned amateur triathlete from South Africa. He finished second in his age category for the middle-distance triathlon and described the event as the most unique he had ever attended. The combination of the cruise experience, the performances by the Al Fursan UAE Flying Team, and a stunning firework display left a lasting impression on him.
