Delhi Triumphs Over Lucknow in Exciting IPL Opener with Rizvi’s Knock

Udaybir Sandhu has become a topic of discussion for his memorable dialogue, “Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi, Jassi,” from the film Dhurandhar 2. Portraying the character Pinda, Sandhu’s impactful performance plays a crucial role in a gripping scene alongside Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, he shared insights about his experience on set with Ranveer and the film’s production.

Reflecting on their first meeting, Udaybir praised Ranveer’s approachable nature, stating, “He is such a warm person, makes you feel really comfortable.” This supportive environment allowed Sandhu to focus on his performance, turning challenging scenes into manageable tasks. The actor emphasized Ranveer’s willingness to provide constructive feedback, which significantly aided his development. He noted that the level of security Ranveer exhibits as a co-actor is uncommon in the industry, saying, “He is such a sweet soul, such a good actor.”

Udaybir also highlighted the collaborative atmosphere fostered by director Aditya Dhar and Ranveer. He mentioned that a large portion of his lines—approximately 30-40%—were improvised, thanks to the freedom he was given during filming. The actor recounted how Ranveer encouraged him to explore different takes without the pressure of rushing, intensifying the overall performance further. He remarked on Ranveer’s commitment to the scene, noting that even when the camera was on him, Ranveer delivered his lines with remarkable intensity, enhancing the film’s emotional impact.

Dhurandhar The Revenge serves as a spy action thriller, focusing on the evolution of Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi, as he transitions into the undercover operative Hamza Ali Mazari. The narrative delves into his infiltration of Pakistan’s underworld, continuing from where the previous installment left off. The film explores Hamza’s ascent within the criminal ranks of Lyari, depicting his journey to dismantle a terror network operating from within the country.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge boasts a strong cast featuring Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt. Since its release, the film has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike, achieving a remarkable milestone of over ₹600 crore at the domestic box office and more than ₹1000 crore globally within just a week.
