England cricket star Cook supports prestigious sports initiative in Dubai

England cricket legend Alastair Cook has taken on the role of Official Education Ambassador for Queen Elizabeth’s School, participating in a special event at Dubai Sports City. This initiative is part of the school’s broader plan to expand its distinguished British K-12 education into new international markets.

The event highlights the school’s commitment to high academic standards and exceptional student outcomes, catering to growing demand in various regions. Cook’s participation is emblematic of his dedication to educational excellence.

In expressing his enthusiasm, Cook remarked, “Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet, has a remarkable heritage of excellence, ambition, and character. To see that legacy now being brought to Dubai is incredibly exciting.” His involvement underscores the potential for students to flourish both academically and personally, encouraging the development of essential skills and qualities.

Renowned for being one of the greatest Test cricket opening batsmen, Cook will also play a significant role in advising the school on elite sports programs. His focus will be on establishing high-performance pathways that integrate sports into the educational experience.
