Excitement Builds as Lionel Messi Prepares for Mumbai Appearance

The teaser for the upcoming film “Dacoit,” directed by Shaneil Deo and featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in leading roles, was unveiled recently. Set against the backdrop of a heist, the teaser suggests a thrilling, fractured love story akin to a desi version of Bonnie and Clyde. Additionally, it includes a humorous nod to the illustrious career of actor Nagarjuna.

The footage opens with Adivi Sesh’s character discussing a daring plan with a friend, but quickly transitions into an action-packed sequence with Mrunal Thakur taking the driver’s seat as they embark on their robbery adventure. The scene is intensified by a remixed version of “Kanne Pettaro,” a nostalgic track from the 1994 film “Hello Brother,” which starred Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishnan, and Soundarya.

Audience reactions to the teaser have been enthusiastic, with fans expressing their excitement on social media. Comments ranged from appreciation of Sesh’s rustic slang to anticipation for the film’s intensity, indicating a strong buzz surrounding the project.

“Dacoit” features a talented ensemble cast that includes Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, and Atul Kulkarni, among others. The film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang, with Annapurna Studios presenting the project. Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo collaborated on the story and screenplay, while Abburi Ravi contributed the dialogues. Music for the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, and Danush Bhaskar serves as the cinematographer.

Originally scheduled for a Christmas release, the film is now set to premiere on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Ugadi festival. The project faced some shifts in its lead cast, notably with the departure of Shruti Haasan, which Sesh clarified was due to creative differences rather than any personal rift.

Fans and critics alike are keenly awaiting this latest addition to the Telugu film landscape, particularly due to the charisma and talent of its leads. As the release date approaches, “Dacoit” stands out as one of the anticipated films of 2026, promising a mix of drama and action.
