Saba Azad, the well-known actor, has been hospitalized due to an infection from the Cyclospora cayetanensis parasite. She shared an update on her Instagram, where she appeared frail while lying in a large hospital bed, describing the experience as the “worst 14 days” of her life. In her post, she mentioned that Hrithik Roshan has been a source of support during this challenging time.
In her Instagram caption, Saba expressed her frustration at the unexpected sickness, given her usually careful approach to food and hydration. She noted, “Cyclospora cayetanensis you nasty piece of work!! For someone who only ever eats home food and carries her water bottle everywhere, this bug came out of nowhere.” Over the last two weeks, she lost four kilograms, which she could ill afford, and is struggling with weakness.
Reflecting on her experience, Saba contrasted her previous fitness level with her current condition. “One day I’m training twice a day… and the next I’m half my size,” she wrote. She emphasized the importance of washing vegetables thoroughly to prevent such infections, recommending a method that involves baking soda and veggie wash products.
In her message, Saba also praised Hrithik for his companionship during her recovery. She stated, “He’s kept my very grumpy spirits up and always manages to find humor in the darnest situations.” She opted for a light-hearted note about her appearance in the hospital, clarifying that she hasn’t shrunk as much as it seems due to the bed’s size and camera angle.
Turning to Hrithik Roshan, he was previously married to Sussanne Khan from 2000 to 2014. The couple has two sons, Hrehaan and Hridhaan, and they have maintained a cordial relationship post-divorce while co-parenting their children.
Saba and Hrithik began their relationship in 2022 and celebrated their fourth anniversary in October 2025. As their relationship became public, the couple was seen enjoying various outings together, including dinner dates and events like Karan Johar’s milestone birthday party. They have also spent time with Sussanne and her new partner, Arslan Goni, who also began dating in 2022.
Looking ahead, Hrithik is set to step into the director’s role with the much-anticipated film, Krrish 4, which he will also produce. Additionally, he is involved in a Prime Video web series titled Storm.
