The FIFA World Cup trophy tour is set to begin its journey across North America in Mexico on February 26, 2026. This extensive tour will cover 38 cities in the lead-up to the highly anticipated World Cup.
The original trophy embarked on its 75-day global tour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, starting on January 3. After its time in Saudi Arabia, the trophy will arrive in Mexico City and make stops in 10 major cities, including Guadalajara and Monterrey, offering fans an opportunity to see the prestigious trophy up close.
Following its Mexican leg, the tour will proceed to the United States, kicking off in Los Angeles on March 24-25. The U.S. itinerary includes 21 stops, showcasing the trophy in all 11 host cities as well as 10 additional significant markets across the country.
After completing the U.S. leg, the tour will cross into Canada, starting in Vancouver on April 10. The Canadian portion will feature stops in seven cities, culminating in a visit to Toronto on May 25-26. This exciting leg will enhance the anticipation for the World Cup among Canadian fans.
The tour will then return to the United States for a brief stop in Boston, before making its final U.S. appearance on June 3 in the New York/New Jersey area. Concluding the North American leg, the trophy will head back to Mexico City from June 5-8, just days before the tournament begins.
