Gambhir Faces Pressure as India Pursues Second Consecutive T20 World Cup

Actor Mouni Roy has recently made headlines after sharing a distressing experience she faced at an event in Karnal. She described the incident as humiliating and traumatic, highlighting the inappropriate behavior of two older men who attended the event. A video that reportedly captures Mouni’s reaction during the event has since surfaced on social media, drawing significant attention.

The footage shows Mouni performing in a silver outfit among a group of dancers. At one point, she appeared visibly upset, displaying a middle finger before exiting the stage, while the other dancers continued their performance. It remains unclear if this video was definitively recorded at the same event mentioned by Mouni.

Reactions from social media users have been largely supportive of Mouni’s decision to leave the event. Many commended her for standing up for her dignity against what they deemed unacceptable behavior. Comments reflected a collective agreement that harassment should not be tolerated, with some users even urging her to name and shame the individuals responsible. The consensus was that Mouni handled the situation with grace despite the discomfort it caused her.

On Saturday, Mouni took to her Instagram Stories to provide further details about the incident. She expressed her disgust regarding the actions of the attendees, particularly the two men who she said were old enough to be grandparents. Mouni recounted how as the event began, she felt uncomfortable when men placed their hands on her waist to take pictures. When she asked one to remove his hand, she was met with disrespectful behavior.

During her performance, she claimed that the same men made lewd comments and gestures towards her. Efforts to calmly address them were met with further provocations, including being pelted with roses. Mouni also mentioned that some attendees filmed her from low angles, exacerbating her discomfort. She emphasized the irony of being treated poorly at an event intended to celebrate someone else, revealing the unfortunate realities that public figures sometimes face in professional settings.
