Actor Allu Sirish is set to marry his long-time girlfriend Nayanika Reddy in a traditional Telugu ceremony in Hyderabad. The couple has celebrated their engagement with several pre-wedding parties, blending modern festivities with longstanding traditions, including the pasupu danchadam, mangala snanam, and mehendi.
Nayanika recently shared a video on Instagram showcasing her mangala snanam, or holy bath, which her family refers to as mailapolu. The footage captures the joyous moments as her family applies turmeric and nalugu to her before the ceremonial bath. Sirish, feeling a touch of FOMO, expressed his thoughts on social media, wishing he could partake in the celebrations.
On Thursday, Nayanika also documented her mehendi application on Instagram Stories. She later shared photos from her pasupu danchadam ceremony, emphasizing the significance of the day. Dressed in a gold and purple saree, she participated in the rituals, with future father-in-law Allu Aravind present and enjoying the festivities. Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy, alongside their son, also attended, joined by other family members like Chiranjeevi’s wife, Konidela Surekha.
The wedding ceremony is taking place today, March 6, marking the 15th anniversary of Arjun and Sneha’s own wedding. Leading up to the event, the couple hosted a pre-wedding reception at Allu Studios on March 2 and celebrated with a cocktail party in Hyderabad. Their traditional ceremonies have included the pelli koduku and other rituals celebrating their union.
Sirish and Nayanika’s love story began at a celebration hosted by Nithiin and Shalini Kandukuri for another couple in 2023. Nayanika, best friends with Shalini, developed a relationship with Sirish shortly after. The couple got engaged in October 2025, with Sirish humorously noting that there would be no sangeet ceremony, as is customary in South Indian weddings. Today, their wedding expects a turnout from notable family members and friends within the film industry, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Varun Tej, among others.
