Ram Charan recently faced a minor setback while filming an action scene for his upcoming sports drama, “Peddi.” The actor suffered an injury that required surgery but quickly returned to the set, displaying resilience and determination just days before his birthday.

After the incident, Ram Charan met fans, visibly unbothered despite a bandage above his eye. Dressed in his signature Ayyappa mala, he engaged with enthusiastic supporters, even taking a selfie video as they cheered for him. Security had to manage the eager crowd as fans attempted to get closer to the star.

Fans shared their experiences online, expressing excitement about meeting Ram. One individual posted videos showcasing a tent set up for fans on the “Peddi” set. The footage captured Ram stepping out of a vehicle while greeted by cheers from those gathered to celebrate his impending birthday on March 27, when he will turn 41.

According to sources close to the actor, the injury occurred during the filming of an action sequence, requiring four sutures. Despite the nature of his injury, the actor did not take a break, and it has been clarified that his eye was not seriously affected, alleviating early rumors suggesting otherwise.

At a press conference in Tirupati, Ram’s cousin, Niharika Konidela, showed visible concern when informed of his accident. She expressed her shock, admitting she had just arrived from a flight and had not been updated on the situation prior to the discussion.

Later, the production team released a statement confirming the nature of the injury as “minor” and specifically noted it was to Ram’s left eye. Chiranjeevi, a prominent figure in the industry and Ram’s father, publicly thanked the medical team, highlighting the skill and care of Dr. Sudhakar Prasad, who performed the surgery. His gratitude reflected the relief felt by Ram’s family and friends in light of the situation.
