Is Sooryavanshi the Key for India Expert Weighs In After Teen Stuns Bumrah

Filmmaker and actor Sundar C is stepping into the political arena as the Madurai candidate for the Pudiya Neethi Katchi (PNK), in alliance with the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), ahead of the Tamil Nadu elections. His wife, Khushbu, a prominent BJP leader, is supporting his political ambitions and has actively defended him against circulating rumors.

Recently, social media buzzed with claims that Sundar proposed to ban meat shops in the Madurai Central constituency to uphold the sanctity of the Meenakshi Amman temple. In response to these assertions, Sundar took to his social media accounts to declare the rumors as false. He emphasized his respect for the people’s rights and feelings, stating, “Our response to such low-level actions will be through unity and victory.”

Khushbu also weighed in, amplifying Sundar’s message and attributing the false claims to the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party. She criticized the DMK for resorting to disinformation when faced with integrity and honesty, asserting that this tactic would backfire as the people of Madurai are united behind Sundar.

Khushbu’s political journey began in 2010 with the DMK, followed by a transition to the Indian National Congress in 2014. She officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2020, later being appointed as the Tamil Nadu BJP vice president. Sundar C’s political debut coincides with the upcoming elections scheduled for April 23.

In terms of their careers, Khushbu recently appeared in the Tamil film “Nesippaya” and the Hindi movie “Subedaar,” while also producing Sundar’s film “Gangers.” Sundar, who directed and starred in “Gangers,” was also involved in the Tamil film “Vallan.” This year, he is set to act in “One 2 One” and is directing new films, including “Mookuthi Amman 2” and “Purushan.
