New Cricket Stadium Construction Kicks Off for 2028 LA Olympics

Fans of the popular Hindi film series Hera Pheri have been eagerly looking forward to the release of Hera Pheri 3, which promises to reunite Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. However, the project has faced significant challenges, including Paresh Rawal’s unexpected departure, which left both fans and Kumar surprised. Additionally, the film’s progress has been stalled due to a legal dispute over copyright ownership between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and a South-based producer.

In a recent conversation with Subhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Akshay Kumar addressed the status of Hera Pheri 3 and the ongoing controversies surrounding it. He revealed that the film is unlikely to move forward in the near future, stating that it is “not happening as of now.”

Kumar expressed his disappointment over the situation, saying, “I was also shocked. But that’s okay. Welcome has been made. We need to recite some good mantras to make it happen.” He emphasized that various issues are preventing progress, but clarified that the three main actors remain on good terms. They are currently working together on another project, Welcome to the Jungle.

While Kumar remained optimistic about the potential for Hera Pheri 3 to eventually materialize, he conveyed a sense of urgency regarding the timeline, humorously adding, “I hope we are not old by that time!” This suggests that, despite current setbacks, there is still hope for a future collaboration featuring the beloved characters.

The Hera Pheri franchise first captivated audiences in 2000 with its original film, directed by Priyadarshan. It introduced iconic characters Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, played by Paresh Rawal, alongside Kumar’s Raju and Suniel Shetty’s Shyam. The film was a tremendous success, garnering a strong fanbase thanks to its clever writing and exceptional comedic timing. A sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, was released in 2006 under the direction of Neeraj Vora, further solidifying the franchise’s popularity. Fans remain hopeful that the third installment can recapture the magic of its predecessors.
