Pakistan Secures Victory Over Zimbabwe by Five Wickets in T20 Showdown

Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana have officially taken a significant step in their long journey together by getting married. The couple, who first met as co-stars in the iconic TV series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has shared a love story that spans over two decades, culminating in their wedding after 23 years as partners.

On November 23, 2025, the duo exchanged vows at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan, marking a milestone in their relationship. Their collaboration on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, produced by Ekta Kapoor, introduced them to audiences when Ashlesha played ‘Teesha’, the daughter-in-law of the central character ‘Tulsi’, while Sandeep portrayed ‘Sahil’, her nephew. This show garnered a dedicated fan base, making their connection more significant.

At the time they appeared on the show in the early 2000s, Ashlesha was a teenager and Sandeep was in his 20s. As of now, Ashlesha is 41 years old, while Sandeep is 47, which brings their age difference to nearly six years, with Sandeep being the older partner. According to reports, Ashlesha was born in Pune in 1972, and Sandeep, who hails from Haryana, was born in 1978.

The couple has been a beloved duo in the television industry. Given their lengthy relationship, fans often wondered why they delayed their marriage. In a previous interview, Ashlesha expressed her views on the institution of marriage, stating that true security comes from the emotional bond shared rather than formal contracts. Reflecting on their earlier years, she noted her initial insecurities as a teenager but emphasized the strength of their connection now.

After spending over two decades together, Ashlesha and Sandeep felt a strong inspiration to marry following a trip to Vrindavan in April 2025. Their visit to the Radha Krishna temples resonated deeply with them, prompting the decision to tie the knot. In a recent interview, Sandeep shared his thoughts on this pivotal moment, highlighting their parents’ joy after waiting for this occasion and expressing the desire for a simple wedding in a sacred location.

The age gap between the couple has sparked discussions, yet their enduring relationship serves as a reminder of the depth of their connection. As they embark on this new chapter as a married couple, fans continue to celebrate their journey together.
