Rai Shines Bright Again at Morning Rolex Pro-Am During DP World Tour

The trailer for Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film, Dhurandhar, was unveiled in Mumbai on Tuesday, showcasing an ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, among others. The film centers on the life of an undercover agent and has garnered attention not only from fans but also from various celebrities, including Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, who praised the trailer.

Ranveer Singh shared the action-packed trailer on his Instagram, expressing excitement with the caption, “This time……it’s personal. #DhurandharTrailer Out Now! (Link in bio). In Cinemas 5th December.” His wife, actress Deepika Padukone, enthusiastically responded, referencing his versatility with the comment, “‘The Chameleon’ is back!!!” alongside fire emojis.

The reactions continued with Priyanka Chopra sharing her excitement with a “Woah” and a blast emoji, while filmmaker Zoya Akhtar simply remarked “Boom.” Other notable figures within the industry, including Yami Gautam, Aparshakti Khurana, Bhumi Pednekar, and Mouni Roy, also expressed their admiration for the trailer, further emphasizing its impact.

Dhurandhar is crafted by Aditya Dhar, who serves as the writer, director, and co-producer. The film is produced under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. While the specifics of Ranveer’s character remain under wraps, the trailer suggests he portrays a RAW agent. The supporting cast features Sanjay as SP Chaudhary Aslam, Akshaye as Rehman Dakait, Madhavan as Intelligence Officer Ajay Sanyal, and Arjun as Major Iqbal ISI. Initially launched in 2024, the film is set to hit theaters on December 5 of this year.

At the trailer launch, Ranveer articulated his pride in being part of the project, stating, “It is an insane trailer. I’m proud to be part of this movie. I’m happy to be part of something where we are trying to push for something more, take our cinema to the world.” He emphasized the importance of showcasing Indian cinema on the global stage, highlighting it as a significant moment for Indian film.
