26 Thousand Beneficiaries of the Fujairah Charitable Qurbani Project

Yusuf Al-Marshoudi, the Director General of the Fujairah Charity Association, announced the launch of their 2025 Eid al-Adha campaign, themed “Your Sacrifice is Joy and Reward.” The initiative aims to distribute meat from sacrifices to 26,000 beneficiaries both within the country and internationally, prioritizing those in need while ensuring compliance with Islamic regulations regarding meat distribution.

In collaboration with the Fujairah Municipality’s slaughterhouse management, the campaign will ensure the slaughtering, transportation, and distribution of the sacrificial meat throughout various regions of Fujairah, all while adhering to health standards and protocols.

This year, the cost of a sacrifice is set at 600 dirhams domestically and 350 dirhams internationally. Al-Marshoudi emphasized the association’s commitment to aiding benefactors in delivering their sacrifices to those in need, utilizing specially designed refrigerated vehicles to ensure the safety and quality of the meat during delivery.

He highlighted that this annual project is designed to facilitate the process for donors, allowing them to send their sacrificial meat to deserving families and bring joy to those in need during the Eid al-Adha festivities.

The association has ensured its representatives are present in over 23 locations across Fujairah, with five designated slaughterhouses in the emirate located in Fujairah City, as well as in Masafi, Murbeh, Dibba, and Al-Badiyah, covering all geographic areas within the emirate.

Eid Clothing

Additionally, the campaign will include the distribution of Eid clothing and fruit baskets, with the cost of Eid clothing for orphans set at 500 dirhams and the fruit basket at 100 dirhams. The association has opened its electronic channels to receive donations aimed at helping those in need.

Furthermore, the association has begun accepting contributions, facilitating the donation process through its website, bank deposits, SMS options, the toll-free number 8008844, and electronic devices.
