A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the islands of Tonga in the South Pacific today.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake was located approximately 179 kilometers east of the village of Hihifo, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake, and no tsunami warnings have been issued.
