Yesterday, the Human Resources Department of Ajman began the implementation of the cloud-based version of the “Resources” system, serving as a unified platform for managing HR services and procedures across governmental entities in the emirate. This initiative is part of the department’s efforts to accelerate the digital transformation of government services and enhance institutional performance.
Safia Al-Muharzi, the Director of HR Programs and Services, affirmed that the launch of the cloud computing system represents a strategic move demonstrating the Ajman Government’s commitment to comprehensive digital transformation.
The new system offers a flexible and secure platform that allows entities to access services and data smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the enhancement of administrative operations and the delivery of smart and sustainable services.
Furthermore, she highlighted that “the cloud system is one of the most prominent modern technological solutions, aligning with the emirate’s vision of innovation in government services and improving the readiness of human resources to leverage digital transformation.” She noted that the department has completed the training and qualification of staff in government entities to effectively utilize the system.
In this context, the department issued a circular to all government entities in the emirate mandating the adoption of the unified cloud system while discontinuing the use of any alternative systems or tools, except in exceptional cases.
This update aligns with the department’s responsibilities as stated in Decree No. 4 of 2017 and its ongoing efforts to implement best technical practices in human capital management, aiming to achieve the aspirations of the Ajman 2030 Vision towards a smart government system.
