Ali Al Kaabi: Awarding “Mother of the Emirates” the Turkish Republic Medal Is a Well-Deserved Recognition of Her Contributions

Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Family Development Foundation, stated that Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the Federal National Council and the Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, has created a unique model of humanitarian giving through her pioneering and philanthropic initiatives. On the occasion of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan awarding her the “Republic Medal,” making her the first woman to receive this prestigious honor, he remarked, “This recognition reflects an international acknowledgment of her pivotal role in advancing women’s, family, and childhood issues. It highlights the profound appreciation for her exceptional achievements on both local and international levels, with her efforts serving as an inspiration for the world in humanitarian leadership, embodying values of generosity, dedication, and social responsibility.”

He added that this distinguished honor is a well-deserved culmination of an extensive journey of limitless giving and reflects her esteemed global standing, serving as a source of pride for the United Arab Emirates while symbolizing international recognition of her steadfast approach in supporting humanity without discrimination based on gender or ethnicity.

Al Kaabi emphasized the significant and leading role played by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak as “Mother of the Emirates” in endorsing humanitarian initiatives and enhancing the country’s civilizational and humanitarian message on a global scale, working toward building a better future for all.
