America Reinforces Call for Ukraine and Russia to End the Conflict

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have reiterated their calls for Russia and Ukraine to reach a peace agreement.

Vance noted that there appears to be no clear end in sight for the conflict in Ukraine, while Rubio emphasized that President Donald Trump needs to see a breakthrough “very soon.”

These remarks, made separately by the officials during an interview with Fox News, underscore the Trump administration’s growing impatience with the complexities of achieving a resolution to the war, which has now entered its fourth year.

Although Trump, who pledged to negotiate a peace deal on his first day in office, was initially seen as leaning toward Russia, he has made more positive statements regarding Ukraine ahead of a recent minerals agreement.

Vance and Rubio affirmed that the responsibility for peace lies with both parties involved.

In a discussion on “Special Report with Bret Baier” on Fox News, Vance stated, “It is up to them to find an agreement and end this brutal conflict.”
