Amin Taleb Returns 200,000 Dirhams to Its Owner

A student from Dubai Secondary School received special recognition from the Al Qusais Police Station, surprising his classmates for his honesty and commitment to returning a wallet containing a substantial amount of money and a cheque valued at 200,000 dirhams. He took the initiative to return it to its rightful owner after finding it in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Hashimi, the Deputy Director of Al Qusais Police Station, honored the student, Eissa Abbas Mohammed Abdullah, in a special ceremony attended by Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Abdulaziz Al Khaja, head of the Administrative Affairs Department. This was a significant gesture that acknowledged the student’s integrity as he returned the wallet and sought to return it to its owner.

Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Hashimi stated that the recognition aligns with the “We Reach You to Thank You” initiative, aimed at honoring collaborators and external partners in their communities while celebrating them among their peers. He praised Eissa Abbas Mohammed Abdullah for his honesty and his responsible action in communicating with the police to return the wallet and its contents, encouraging community members to see him as a role model for truthfulness and integrity.
