Amita Muchhal Provides Health Update on Son Palash After Hospital Visit

Smriti Mandhana, the vice-captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, had planned to marry her partner, Palash Muchhal, on November 23, 2025, in Sangli, Maharashtra. However, the wedding has been postponed due to health issues affecting both Smriti’s father and Palash himself. This situation has deeply affected the couple and their families.

In a recent interview, Amita Muchhal, Palash’s mother, revealed the strong relationship between her son and Smriti’s father, Srinivas Mandhana. She noted that Palash shared a close bond with Srinivas, stronger than that with Smriti herself. After Srinivas was hospitalized, it was Palash who decided to delay the wedding before Smriti could do so, highlighting the depth of their connection.

Amita provided an update on Palash’s condition following Srinivas’s health scare. She revealed that Palash was deeply emotional, crying for hours after hearing about Srinivas’s hospitalization, which led to his own health issues. After spending four hours in the hospital for tests and monitoring, Palash has returned home and is currently recuperating. Amita mentioned, “He is feeling better and resting now, but there is still stress.”

Further discussing the situation, Amita reflected on the moments leading up to Srinivas’s hospitalization. She recounted how he was in high spirits just a day prior, dancing joyfully at the pre-wedding celebrations. However, during a discussion about the wedding arrangements, he experienced discomfort, prompting his immediate transfer to the hospital.

Health updates about Srinivas have been concerning. Dr. Naman Shah, the director of Sarvhit Hospital, indicated that Srinivas experienced heart attack symptoms, including left-sided chest pain. While no new issues were found, he requires ongoing ECG monitoring and possibly further examinations. Given the stress of wedding preparations, both physical and mental health factors are being considered.

The unfolding events around Smriti and Palash have brought attention not only to their wedding plans but also to the importance of health amidst personal celebrations. The close-knit relationships among the families underscore the emotional impact of such situations. As both families navigate these challenges, the priority remains on health and wellbeing.
