Ashlesha Savant Ties the Knot with Sandeep Baswana After 23 Years Together

Ashlesha Savant, known for her role in the popular series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and her long-time partner Sandeep Baswana have officially tied the knot after over two decades of dating. Their wedding ceremony took place on November 16, 2025, at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan. The actress shared enchanting photos from their intimate celebration on social media, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.

The couple’s journey began in 2002 when they first met during the filming of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. After 23 years together, Ashlesha and Sandeep decided to take the next step in their relationship. Ashlesha posted images from their wedding on November 23, 2025. She wore a delicate baby pink saree, while Sandeep donned an elegant ivory sherwani, creating a picturesque setting for their special day, attended solely by family members.

In a recent interview, Sandeep revealed the inspiration behind their marriage decision. During a trip to Vrindavan in April 2025, the couple felt a profound connection with the local Radha Krishna temples, which spurred their decision to wed. He noted that their parents had eagerly awaited this moment, and they chose to keep the wedding simple and heartfelt. Sandeep expressed, “Our parents are the happiest – they’ve been waiting for this for a long time. We wanted to keep it simple, and what better than getting married in a Lord Krishna temple?”

Ashlesha echoed Sandeep’s sentiments, describing their marriage as a spontaneous yet cherished decision. She referred to Vrindavan as the perfect location for their nuptials and emphasized their desire to maintain a low-key ceremony with their families.

After the vows, Sandeep commented on how their relationship felt fundamentally unchanged by the marriage, stating, “In my mind, Ashlesha and I were always married. I don’t feel anything different.” He noted the relief in finally addressing questions from others about why they had not married sooner, adding that they felt overwhelmed by the support and love they received on their wedding day.

Both Ashlesha and Sandeep share a career in the entertainment industry, having starred together not only in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi but also in another series called Kammal. Currently, Ashlesha is involved with the soap opera Jhanak, while Sandeep was last seen on-screen in Apollena.

Their love story, spanning over two decades, has culminated in a celebration of commitment and shared experiences. Congratulations to Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana on this new chapter of their lives together.
