Awez Darbar’s Mother Offers Cryptic Clue About His Split from Nagma

Shreya Ghoshal recently shared her thoughts on Arijit Singh’s decision to step back from playback singing in Bollywood. In an interview, she indicated that, like Arijit, she has considered taking a break from the industry, acknowledging the personal courage required to make such a significant choice.

During her discussion with ABP News, Shreya emphasized the importance of live performances to her identity as an artist. She expressed disdain for lip-syncing, stating, “I feel very uncomfortable with that. I will stop singing the day I have to do that.” Her commitment to authentic musical expression is a cornerstone of her artistry.

Shreya praised Arijit for his bravery in stepping away from playback singing, expressing admiration for his passion for music. She mentioned, “He is a musician from the heart. He doesn’t think about why he is making music or what he will get from it. He just does what makes him happy.” Such authenticity is what creates a powerful connection between Arijit and his audience.

Reflecting on Arijit’s dedication to music, Shreya noted that his sincerity is a significant reason why fans relate to him. She believes that for Arijit, music transcends all, which is a strong factor behind his popularity.

Shreya Ghoshal began her illustrious playback singing career with the film Devdas, where she garnered a National Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song “Bairi Piya.” With a versatile voice, she has performed in multiple languages, showcasing her talent across Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

In an exciting development, Shreya recently announced her The Unstoppable World Tour. The tour is set to include performances in the UK, USA, India, and Abu Dhabi, further solidifying her status in the global music scene.

In January, Arijit Singh shared his retirement news via social media. He expressed gratitude for the support he received over the years and announced that he would no longer take on new playback singing assignments. In his heartfelt message, he described his journey as “wonderful” and emphasized a desire for the new generation to inspire him with their talent.

While concluding his Bollywood commitments, Arijit made it clear that he intends to continue making music outside the film industry. Following his announcement, he released an independent track titled “Raina,” featuring lyrics by Priya Saraiya and music composed by Sheykhar Ravjiani, marking a new chapter in his musical career.
