The Deol family is currently in mourning following the death of legendary actor Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24, 2025. In the wake of this loss, actor Bobby Deol has shared insights into how this tragedy has affected his relationship with his family, especially his half-sisters, Ahana and Esha.

Bobby Deol recently spoke with Esquire India, reflecting on his regrets regarding the time he spent with his father. He expressed a desire to have engaged more with Dharmendra, wishing he had asked more questions and cherished those moments. This loss has prompted Bobby to focus more on his own family, realizing that true success lies in the time spent with loved ones. He emphasized, “What’s the point of fame and wealth when there’s no one to witness it with you?”

In a heartfelt reminder of his father, Bobby revealed that he continues to watch Dharmendra’s reels on Instagram. He finds warmth in these memories, stating that it feels as if his father is speaking directly to him. Bobby also mentioned wearing a shirt his father frequently donned, which he chose for the premiere of Dharmendra’s last film, Ikkis, to feel his father’s presence alongside him during the occasion.

The impact of Dharmendra’s death has also fostered a deeper connection among the siblings. Bobby discussed how the shared experience of grief has brought him closer to Ahana and Esha, acknowledging that each family member copes with loss differently. He noted, “Loss has its own way of bringing a family closer,” emphasizing the importance of giving each other time and space to heal from their pain.

Bobby Deol, a well-known Bollywood actor, made his debut with Barsaat and gained recognition through a series of successful films such as Kareeb, Soldier, and Badal. After a break from acting, he made a notable comeback with his performance in Animal. Recently, he has been in the spotlight for his role in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, *The Ba**ds Of Bollywood. On the personal front, Bobby is married to Tanya Ahuja, and they have two sons, Aryamann and Dharam.
