Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi celebrated the arrival of their son, Vaayuv, in September 2025. Recently, they shared heartwarming moments from their son’s first Makar Sankranti celebration, capturing the festive spirit in a series of pictures posted on social media.

The couple dressed in traditional attire for the occasion, with Varun in pink and Lavanya complementing him in a similar shade. Their son looked adorable in a yellow traditional outfit, highlighting the family’s festive coordination. The images showcased Varun joyfully playing with Vaayuv while Lavanya beamed with happiness beside them. Another picture featured the family posing together, embodying the warmth of the celebration.

In his heartfelt post, Varun extended warm wishes to his followers, noting the significance of the festival this year as it marked Vaayuv’s first. He expressed gratitude from their family to theirs, despite opting to keep their son’s face concealed in the photos. The online community responded with affection, with friends and fans praising the beautiful family moments shared.

Upasana Konidela commented on the post, calling the images “sweetest.” Fans joined in, expressing sentiments such as “adorable, anna” and one noted them as “the cutest family in the TFI (Telugu Film Industry).” The excitement among fans was palpable, with one even inquiring about when they might get to see Vaayuv’s face.

Varun and Lavanya’s journey together began on the set of their 2017 film, Mister, where they formed a close bond. Their relationship was further ignited when they reunited for Antariksham 9000 KMPH in 2018, leading to speculation about their romance. The couple maintained privacy until their engagement in Hyderabad in 2023, followed by a beautiful wedding in the serene surroundings of Tuscany later that year.

In May 2025, the couple announced Lavanya’s pregnancy, and the joy of their growing family culminated in the birth of Vaayuv in September. Looking ahead, Varun Tej is set to appear in VT15, with an announcement for the title and first glimpse scheduled for January 19.
