Crescent Enterprises is celebrating its 11th consecutive year of involvement with the Arabian Sights Film Festival, which is commemorating its 30th anniversary this year.

Arabian Sights, taking place annually in Washington, DC, has emerged as a prominent venue for highlighting the richness, variety, and vibrancy of Arab cinema. Since its launch in 1996, the festival has showcased more than 300 films, providing a significant insight into the social, political, and cultural stories that define the Arab World.

The ongoing support from Crescent Enterprises illustrates its commitment to promoting the arts as a means to unite communities and encourage inclusive dialogue between cultures. Tushar Singhvi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Enterprises, stated: “We are privileged to continue our association with Arabian Sights as it marks three decades of impactful storytelling. The arts are crucial in enhancing international understanding, and film, in particular, allows us to engage with lives and perspectives beyond our own. Supporting initiatives like Arabian Sights resonates with our belief in the transformative potential of culture in fostering empathy, inclusion, and meaningful interaction.” Shirin Ghareeb, Founder and Curator of Arabian Sights, remarked: “Reaching our 30th anniversary showcases the ability of storytelling to cross boundaries and nurture mutual understanding. We are profoundly thankful for our enduring collaboration with Crescent Enterprises, whose support has enabled us to amplify Arab voices and share their narratives with wider audiences. Together, we continue to connect cultures and reshape perceptions through the medium of cinema.”

This year’s festival, scheduled from April 24 to May 4, 2025, will present an exciting lineup of films from both renowned and emerging Arab filmmakers. Through its sustained partnership with Arabian Sights, Crescent Enterprises is dedicated to highlighting authentic voices and fostering cultural connections through the arts.
