Actor Sonali Raut has recently posted a troubling video that highlights a serious skin infection she claims to have developed after her time on the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi 6. Her revelations about unhygienic living conditions within the house have brought renewed attention to the show’s health standards.
On April 17, Sonali took to Instagram to express her concerns about how the show’s environment adversely affected her health. She stated that her experience on Bigg Boss Marathi 6 was far from safe, claiming she contracted a contagious skin disease, scabies, due to extreme unhygienic conditions. She described the living circumstances as a nightmare, mentioning encounters with rats and cockroaches in the kitchen.
Further elaborating on her complaints, she indicated that the issues experienced inside the house went well beyond what is shown on television. Contestants faced poor hygiene, inadequate food options, and significant physical stress. Sonali pointed out that basic necessities such as towels and razors were shared among participants, which she argues led to her infection. She also mentioned suffering from sleep deprivation and a lack of proper meals during her time on the show.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Sonali sent a legal notice to the show’s producers, asserting that she dealt with both mental and physical distress during her participation. She claimed that her ongoing struggles with scabies stem from her living conditions in the house.
In further detail, Sonali recounted her experience, criticizing the unhygienic environment where food was often contaminated and rodents were a common sight. Contestants reportedly had to share a single poorly maintained washroom, which added to the health hazards they faced.
She described moments when she was deprived of adequate food and struggled with sleepless nights. Sonali indicated that the lack of personal hygiene items meant contestants frequently had to share their belongings, which exacerbated their health risks.
Additionally, she alleged that she requested to be evicted due to her declining health but claimed that this appeal was excluded from the show’s footage. Sonali emphasized that she had placed trust in the show’s creators, only to find her health compromised. She called for accountability to prevent others from suffering similar experiences in the future.
