Closure of the National Employment Service Exhibition

The eighth edition of the National Service and Reserve Recruitment Exhibition concluded today at the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City, featuring participation from over 80 organizations across both government and private sectors. The event attracted more than 20,000 Emirati citizens over a three-day span, representing 30 different sectors.

During his visit to the exhibition, Brigadier Hamad Khalifa Ali Al Neyadi, head of the National Service and Reserve Authority, emphasized the importance of empowering recruits and graduates by opening up broad career prospects for them, while praising the high level of participation from national entities.

Ahamd Jassem Al Shamsi, executive director of human capital at Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, highlighted the company’s commitment to investing in local talent to ensure the sustainable operation of the Barakah nuclear power plants. He noted that the training programs offered align with the evolving demands of the job market.

The UAE Space Agency reported its success in recruiting an engineer for the “Emirates Mission to Explore the Asteroid Belt” through the previous edition of the exhibition, stating its intention in the current round to attract new graduates and provide specialized training opportunities within its upcoming space projects.

Dr. Yasser Al Wahidi, head of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy, announced the launch of a marine engineering program and the provision of 120 annual scholarships aimed at preparing students for careers in the maritime transport sector while supporting nationalization and innovation efforts in this vital industry.

The exhibition also featured more than 40 workshops and discussion sessions addressing labor market transformations and the role of media and education in combating extremism, alongside comprehensive professional development programs.
