Deepika Padukone Celebrates Ranveer Singh While Reviewing ‘Dhurandhar’

Ranveer Singh is currently making waves with his impressive performance in the newly released film Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, this action thriller features an ensemble cast that includes Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Sharing a poster from the movie, she expressed her pride in his performance and labeled the film as “worth every minute” of its lengthy runtime of 3 hours and 34 minutes, encouraging fans to watch it in cinemas. Her post was accompanied by the film’s title track, further emphasizing her support.

In this film, Ranveer portrays the character Hamza, who embarks on a courageous mission to safeguard his country. His portrayal has been met with acclaim from fans, who commend his intense and gripping performance. With his robust screen presence, he is described as the driving force of the film. Reports indicate that he received between Rs. 30-50 crore for this role, highlighting his prominent position in the industry.

Audiences are vocal about their admiration for his performance. One viewer commented on Ranveer’s ability to embody the character with remarkable intensity, while another lauded his ability to capture deep emotions tied to patriotism. Comments like “The roaring return of Ranveer Singh!” underscore the anticipation and excitement surrounding his role in this film.

Dhurandhar is directed and produced by Aditya Dhar and features a notable cast, including R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and others. According to reports, by the evening of its release, the film had already crossed Rs. 13.67 crore at the box office, suggesting a strong start for its theatrical run.

Interestingly, Dhurandhar has plans for a sequel, as teased in a post-credits scene that announced its upcoming release on Eid, March 19, 2026. This sequel is set to compete with the film Toxic, which stars Yash, heightening anticipation for both movies.
