Continuing the strategic partnership between the Dubai Financial Audit Academy and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, both entities have announced the launch of the third cohort of the “Professional Diploma – Government Auditor” program. This program stands out as a premier professional training initiative focused on governmental auditing, aimed at cultivating a select group of qualified national talent to work in internal audit units within Dubai’s governmental bodies.
The introduction of this cohort is a follow-up to the achievements of the previous two editions of the program. The second version saw the participation of 26 candidates from 16 government entities, who underwent comprehensive training combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, along with dedicated support to obtain internationally recognized professional certifications in auditing. This year’s edition will span 90 instructional days, featuring academic lectures and practical auditing experiences conducted within government work environments.
In a statement regarding this launch, Abdul Rahman Al Harib, Director General of the Dubai Financial Audit Authority, expressed: “We are pleased to announce the third cohort of the ‘Professional Diploma – Government Auditor’ program, building on the notable success witnessed in previous iterations and focusing on the continuous development of national competencies capable of supporting auditing functions within government entities, aligning with the aspirations of Dubai’s government.”
Moreover, Dr. Ali Bin Sabaa Al Marri, Chief Executive Officer of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government, remarked: “The launch of the third cohort of the ‘Professional Diploma – Government Auditor’ program is part of our ongoing efforts to prepare qualified national personnel who can enhance financial governance and improve governmental performance efficiency, in line with the leadership’s vision to achieve the highest levels of transparency and integrity in public service.”
