Dubai Women’s Empowerment Boosts Entrepreneurship Skills for People with Disabilities

The Future Generations Events Management at the Women’s Renaissance Association in Dubai organized proactive workshops under the initiative “Entrepreneurship with Determination.” These sessions included topics such as “The Path to Entrepreneurship,” “Build Your Online Store,” and “Marketing with Artificial Intelligence.” The goal was to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of individuals with disabilities and promote their innovative projects, aligning with the community integration policy and the UAE’s vision for empowering all community segments.

Khawla Al-Matrooshi, the Director of Future Generations Events Management at the association, stated that these workshops are part of the preparations for a significant event aimed at promoting the projects of people with disabilities and highlighting their capabilities across various fields, set for the upcoming year.

Al-Matrooshi mentioned, “The forthcoming event will serve as a comprehensive platform to support individuals with disabilities from various backgrounds, aiming to shine a light on this important group to enhance their inclusion and empowerment, thereby helping to build a more inclusive and innovative society.”

The workshops were led by Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Azzazi, an economic consultant and entrepreneurship expert at the Center of Excellence, and Fahd Al-Shuwaily, an international lecturer in AI marketing at Dar Al-Ilm Institute.

During his workshop, Dr. Al-Azzazi discussed the distinctions between businesses and entrepreneurship, outlining the essential steps for building a successful project, potential challenges, and future opportunities in the job market, along with factors affecting the sustainability of entrepreneurial ventures.

Meanwhile, Fahd Al-Shuwaily highlighted the leading AI platforms and their role in promoting entrepreneurial initiatives, emphasizing the significance of leveraging modern technologies in smart marketing to empower individuals with disabilities, enabling them to reach a broader audience and create a greater social and economic impact.
