Dwight Howard’s Ex-Wife Accuses Him of Coaching Stepson to Lie

NBA star Dwight Howard is once again at the center of controversy, following emotional revelations from his wife, Amy Luciani. In a heartfelt video shared on social media, Amy discussed the demise of their marriage and spoke candidly about Howard’s struggles with drug addiction. She also mentioned that their daughter has been taken away due to these issues, prompting widespread concern.

Born and raised in Detroit, Amy Luciani, whose real name is Amber Rose, is not just Howard’s wife but also a talented rapper. She began her music career with an all-girl group called Entrance and eventually embarked on a solo journey, releasing her first EP titled “Amy’s World” in 2023. In addition to her music career, Luciani appeared in two seasons of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and has engaged in charitable work, especially focusing on housing aid in Atlanta. She is also known for authoring a children’s book titled “Good Touch Bad Touch.”

The couple’s relationship was largely kept away from the public eye. They share a five-year age gap, and in December 2024, Amy excitedly posted about their engagement, showcasing a diamond ring on her left hand. However, the couple’s happiness was short-lived. They married in January 2025 in a private ceremony. Just six months later, Amy filed for divorce, citing an irretrievably broken marriage and requesting an equal division of assets along with alimony.

In a surprising twist, Amy reconciled with Dwight later in the same year, expressing regret for her decision to file for divorce. She described her actions as naïve, attributing her choice to the challenges of being a young wife and suggesting that many problems could be resolved with silence and patience.

Recently, Amy’s situation took a darker turn when she shared a distressing video from her car, revealing her struggles with Howard’s drug addiction. She spoke of calling the police multiple times during their marriage due to incidents related to his addiction and claimed that they faced intervention from Child Protection Services, which resulted in their daughter being taken away. These serious allegations have raised significant concerns, especially considering that Dwight has five children from previous relationships.

As the situation unfolds, many are left wondering about the implications of Amy’s revelations for both her and Dwight.
