Earthquake Measuring 4.5 Magnitude Strikes Peru

A seismic event measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck southeast of Pucallpa, Peru, today. Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or material damage resulting from the quake.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 124.8 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface, approximately 60 kilometers southeast of Pucallpa.
