A delegation from the UAE, led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alexandria University – Abu Dhabi, visited Alexandria University in Egypt to discuss the preparations for the opening of the new campus in Abu Dhabi, set to begin operations in the academic year 2025-2026.
The visit featured presentations highlighting the university’s achievements in international rankings, as well as its research and academic programs. This was followed by a tour of the Smouha University Hospital for Pediatrics and the specialized Smouha University Hospital.
The delegation received insights into the latest specialized medical departments available.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan praised the prestigious standing and rich history of Alexandria University, emphasizing its regional and international presence. He noted that establishing a branch of the university in Abu Dhabi would enhance educational offerings by providing innovative programs and opportunities for dual and joint degrees in collaboration with renowned academic institutions worldwide, reflecting the strong bonds between the UAE and Egypt.
