The board of the Social Welfare Fund for Journalists convened for its inaugural meeting at the association’s headquarters in Dubai, located in the Muhaisnah 2 area. During this session, the new management board for a three-year term was established. Fadila Al-Maeni was appointed as the chairperson, with Kaltham Al-Mandous serving as vice-chair, Yaqoub Al-Awadi as treasurer, and Riya Al-Mazrouei as secretary. Additionally, Hind Al-Nuaimi has taken on the role of board member.
This initial meeting occurred following the regular general assembly and the election of the new board of directors.
At the beginning of the meeting, Fadila Al-Maeni extended a warm welcome to the new board members and expressed her gratitude to the previous members for their contributions during their term.
