The Civil Defense Agency in Algeria announced on Tuesday that four individuals tragically lost their lives while performing their professional duties due to the crash of a reconnaissance aircraft at the “Farhat Abbas” Airport in Jijel, located approximately 350 kilometers east of the capital.
The agency revealed that the aircraft involved was a “Zelin” model belonging to the Civil Defense Department and was engaged in a training mission at the time of the incident.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact causes and circumstances surrounding the crash.
