Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Her Parenting Anxiety With Son Jack

A new song titled “Kya Kamaal Hai” has been released from the upcoming film “Main Vaapas Aaunga,” directed by Imtiaz Ali. The track features the vocals of actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh and aims to convey a message of hope and unity amidst global turmoil.

This film marks the second collaboration between Ali and Dosanjh, following their success with the 2024 release “Amar Singh Chamkila.” In this project, Ali reunites with his frequent partners, music composer A R Rahman and lyricist Irshad Kamil, to create a piece that resonates with the current climate of uncertainty.

Imtiaz Ali emphasized that the song serves as a beacon of hope during challenging times. He draws parallels between today’s challenges and the painful memories of the 1947 partition. “All of us are going through a tumultuous time today. The world is burning, towns and cities have been devastated,” Ali remarked, underscoring the importance of remembering love and resilience in the face of hardship.

Diljit Dosanjh described the essence of the song, noting its calming presence amidst chaos. He believes “Kya Kamaal Hai” encourages listeners to pause, take a breath, and be present in the moment, offering a sense of stillness despite the surrounding noise.

A R Rahman, the esteemed composer, shared his thoughts on the collaboration with Ali and Kamil, stating it felt like a continuation of an ongoing dialogue. He highlighted the film’s themes of separation and displacement, expressing a desire to create music that lingers gently in the hearts of listeners, especially during turbulent times.

Lyricist Irshad Kamil characterized “Kya Kamaal Hai” as a “song of hope,” one that envisions a conflict-free world. He hopes that it will serve as a source of comfort for those in need.

“Main Vaapas Aaunga,” set against the historical backdrop of the 1947 partition, features a talented cast that includes Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari Wagh, and Vedang Raina. The film is produced by Applause Entertainment and Window Seat Films, with a scheduled theatrical release on June 12.
