Hajj Affairs Office: Early Preparations for Exceptional Services to the Guests of Allah

The UAE’s Office for Pilgrimage Affairs has announced its readiness and early preparations to offer exceptional services and care for the nation’s pilgrims in sacred lands, ensuring all their needs are met with responsibility, dedication, and sincerity. This effort aligns with the aspirations of the wise leadership and reflects the UAE government’s strategy focused on excellence, quality, and adherence to high standards in service delivery.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that it has finalized all arrangements regarding the support of Emirati pilgrims, particularly senior citizens, throughout the Hajj season. This includes comprehensive preparations from travel logistics to the performance of rituals and their return home. The ministry has updated its travel guidance page on both its website and mobile application to provide accurate and up-to-date information on necessary requirements. It encourages Emirati pilgrims to register themselves or their families for the “Tawajudi” service via the website, mobile app, or WhatsApp. They should also keep the designated emergency contact number for citizens: 0097180024 for immediate support when needed. Additionally, the ministry recommends carrying copies of official identification documents to facilitate the issuance of a “return document” in case of lost or damaged passports, which can be processed within 30 minutes.

In advance of the Hajj season, the Ministry of Health and Prevention launched a unified awareness campaign for the 2025 pilgrimage under the slogan “Healthy and Safe Hajj.” This initiative, in collaboration with various health authorities in the country, aims to highlight essential health guidelines that pilgrims should follow before, during, and after their travel, ensuring the utmost comfort for Emirati pilgrims and enhancing their sense of health security and well-being.

The awareness campaign consists of multiple services, including the availability of a downloadable informational guide on the ministry’s website in several languages, responding to health inquiries from pilgrims, and continuous communication with medical teams accompanying the pilgrims to provide them with medications and medical advice. Furthermore, psychological support and guidance will be offered to enhance the quality of care and to maintain a healthy, safe environment for pilgrims.

The campaign also emphasizes the importance of obtaining essential vaccinations prior to travel, such as meningitis, seasonal influenza, and pneumonia vaccines, while promoting adherence to preventive measures throughout the pilgrimage. This includes avoiding injuries, minimizing heat stress, and maintaining a healthy, balanced diet to ensure a safe and healthy environment for pilgrims from the UAE.

The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments has also outlined a comprehensive plan to ensure that Emirati pilgrims can perform their Hajj rituals with ease and comfort this year. This plan includes innovative methods to enhance the pilgrims’ awareness of the rituals, strengthening institutional partnerships to provide proactive and integrated services for pilgrims to perform their religious obligations with peace of mind while showcasing the UAE’s civilizational image in organizing pilgrimage affairs.
