Hamdan bin Mohammed Leads Defense Council Meeting

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, chaired a Defense Council meeting where members explored ways to enhance collaboration and coordination to realize the wise leadership’s vision for advancing national defense capabilities. This includes investing in national talent and embracing innovation and modern technology to establish a comprehensive defense system that protects the country’s achievements on land, at sea, and in the air.

Additionally, he visited the National Defense College in Abu Dhabi and reviewed the academic programs it offers to students from various military and civilian backgrounds aimed at developing national competencies.

During his visit, he met with participants in the 12th National Defense Course for 2024-2025, emphasizing that the college serves as a significant educational and strategic institution that fosters pride through its role in training national personnel and enhancing their academic and practical skills.

In a post on social media platform “X,” he stated: “I chaired a Defense Council meeting where we discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to achieve the vision of our leadership in developing national defense capabilities, investing in national talents, and embracing innovation and modern technologies to build a comprehensive defense system that protects the nation’s achievements on land, at sea, and in the air.”

He added, “I also visited the National Defense College in Abu Dhabi and reviewed the academic programs that it provides for students from various military and civilian sectors to develop national talents, and I met with participants in the 12th National Defense Course for 2024-2025.”

He concluded, “This college represents a scientific and strategic institution that we take pride in, and we are grateful for its role in preparing national cadres and enhancing their academic and professional capabilities.”
