Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has affirmed the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive and comfortable housing solutions for professionals working in Dubai. This initiative is expected to enhance their quality of life and happiness while reinforcing Dubai’s status as the best city for living and working globally.
In a post on his official account on X, he shared details about the signing of an agreement to implement a series of affordable housing projects between the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, and Wasl Group. This collaboration aims to meet the developmental needs outlined in the Dubai Urban Plan 2040 and the objectives of Dubai’s affordable housing policy.
He further stated that the initial phase will allocate six diverse areas in Dubai, covering 1.46 million square meters to develop over 17,000 residential units. These units are intended to serve skilled professionals from various nationalities working in vital and strategic sectors, both public and private. “Our goal is to provide integrated and comfortable housing solutions for these professionals, positively affecting their quality of life and happiness, thereby solidifying Dubai’s reputation as the premier city for living and working worldwide,” he concluded.
